So wouldn't you know it, the very last flight home was delayed! We left from the Charlotte Airport to Atlanta for a changeover. When we got to Atlanta we thought we would have to rush to our next flight, but no! Our flight to Buffalo was delayed until 10pm! Originally it was supposed to land at 10:30 pm in Buffalo! I had to call Hef's dad and he wasn't happy at all at the prospect of picking me up at midnight, which with delays and such turned into 1am! But I made it home! There is plenty of blogging to catch up on and I will do so! In the meantime here's a picture of me and my dad.

So glad you made it home safe, although I'm sure it was not a fun flight.
We had a similar experience once flying from Florida to Hartford. We had switched to a later flight because the airline changed times and we would not have been able to make a connecting flight out of Washington, DC. As it turned out, though, our original flight was delayed--which then delayed our new flight. Long story short, we were at the DC airport until 11:30pm (the time we were expecting to be home) and didn't get home until 3:00am!

Glad you made it home ok. Dad is handsome! Is he French, too? Did you break out the booze in the Atlanta Airport? I have relatives close to there. Best you didn't see them, however. They're rednecks. Also have niece who works for Delta. Thanks for adding your 2 cents (even late). RG realizes he is simply outnumbered. Yes!
