Hef's Dad Cooks...sort of!

Here's Hef's Dad! Isn't he handsome? I apologize to those who mind he is shirtless. Its summer and humid so its hard to keep a shirt on him these days! But isn't he sweet? Hef's dad prepared all by himself a tray of strawberry shortcake, and champagne.
Hef's Dad makes a simple strawberry shortcake. He just slices berries and tosses them with sugar in a big bowl and lets the juices run out and thicken up. Oh no, no tub of glaze for this guy, we had a long discussion about it in the produce section of the store, he even tried to call his mom!
Complete with a strawberry floating in the champagne glass, perfect! Have you ever had a champagne soaked strawberry? Its delicious it tastes fizzy!

Hubba hubba! lol jk. Hef's Dad cooks?! learn new things every day!

Strawberries and champagne? Was there an occasion? Sounds nice and romantic, yet Hef's Dad looks awfully comfy lol.

Yeah, champagne soaked strawberries are the bee's knees.

I second the "hubba hubba". ;)

I agree with Hef's dad--that's the only way to prepare strawberries for strawberry shortcake; toss them in a little sugar and that's it.

Btw, did you know that fruit soaks up alcohol when it's in an alcoholic drink? That's why champagne-soaked strawberries pack a little punch when you eat them. :)

All you needed was to be served that in a bubble bath! Romantic!

Oh my! Who needs a cabana boy when you've got something like that bringing you strawberries and champagne. Ooh-eee! Let's hope it stays hot in NY and there are more pictures. Next year's Bunny Blogger Bash just took on a whole new dimension.
