BUTTERFLIES!

First of all in my attempt to overshadow the butterflies, it has been decided that I will be the Assistant Manager at Wendy's, which is the better of two positions and is salaried and not hourly! WOO!

I  think this butterfly looks burned, very neat.

This butterfly was sooooo beautiful, just like a stained glass window.

I wish I could have had something in this shot for size comparision because this was a VERY LARGE butterfly.

Hef's dad isn't a big fan of bugs flying in his face, but he enjoyed himself and didn't panic when this butterfly landed on his arm.
I never knew I liked butterflies so much, but this conservatory was AMAZING.

That's great about the new job. And what better way to celebrate than with butterflies. Except perhaps lobster.

Yay! Congrats on the promotion! Now you can buy more toys and treats for Hef and the puppies. :)

Butterflies are lovely things; so colorful and so delicate.

Congratulations!!!!

I went to the butterfly conservatory up by Niagara, also, and was quite amused by the idea of how butterflies are probably the only insect most humans can tolerate in such high numbers in one place. Even scores of ladybugs in one area would freak me out. And isn't it funny how if it was a room full of moths you'd probably feel icky, too?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! I'm so happy for you, it's about damn time! AND a license too?!

Jon and I went to the museum last year around his birthday, and I tried desperately to get him to go into the butterfly conservatory. I went there with my nana once and it was amazing and 85 degrees in winter. He basically told me not on my life. Butterflies really freak him out.
